Alex has been in the construction business for many years holding positions as Senior Project Manager, Chief Estimator, Business Development. For the past ten years, he has been building large slick contemporary minimalist custom homes for a few prominent builders in Austin. He has been lucky to build (and remodel) homes designed by the likes of Alterstudio Architects, Hsu Office of Architecture, John Stoddard Architect, SLIC Design, and Lake | Flato Architects.

Along the way, building complex designs with challenging details, he has gained a wealth of experience and knowledge.

He is a capable, solutions-oriented builder and general contractor.

He’s strong across all of the trades - and has self-performed elements of work on many of his projects: constructed board formed-concrete walls; installed large stormwater and sewage ejection pump stations; manifested beautiful rammed earth walls; erected scaffolding and structural shoring; buried power lines for Austin Energy; rusted steel plate privacy walls; installed floor-to-ceiling site-glazed window systems; dug up and reinstalled massive septic system tanks; jackhammered and rocksawed more than he can remember; finessed framing for complex curved and elliptical staircases; and excavated utility trenches, to name a few.

Construction is Alex’s chosen field of endeavor. He’s got a B.S. in Construction Management from LSU in Baton Rouge.

He basically eats, sleeps and dreams about building. It’s in his DNA.
